A native Floridian, Skip grew up close to the ocean on the peninsula of Daytona Beach. Surfing, skateboarding and fishing have been his hobbies since he was a kid. "Living near the beach is a great place to grow up".. He loved being in and around the ocean so much that while in college, he spent his summers working as lifeguard for the Volusia County Beach Patrol (VCLSA).
After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a bachelors degree in Business Administration, Skip returned to his home town to earn a living in the area he grew to love.
